The Geneva Recreation Department provides many services to the community. Foremost amongst its activities is the operation of the Geneva Recreation Complex, an enclosed ice rink and indoor turf facility providing seasonal skating and turf programming. The Geneva Rec Complex is host to the Geneva Generals Youth Hockey Program, Geneva/Waterloo High School Hockey team, College Club Team from HWS and the Hobart Statesmen. In the summer time, the complex is used as an indoor turf facility, hosting youth and adult box lacrosse and soccer programs.

The GRD also provides an abundance of other activities, including live concerts in the summer, summer recreation programs, adult sports leagues, painting classes, lifeguard training, dog obedience classes and so much more! Check out seasonal program brochure for a complete schedule of the latest activities! Don’t forget all of our parks and playgrounds, including Brook St. tennis courts and Lakefront Park which you can also access by boat. The GRD also houses the seasonal Farmers Market which runs every Thursday morning 7:30a-1p June – October on Exchange St. in Downtown Geneva.
